I don't think that anyone else has mentioned this, so I will.  We just
(9-12-97) received Children today v.24, no. 2, 1997, which I understood
was to be the last one of that title.  However, at a glance, I did not
think that it looked like a title about to cease, so I looked at it a
little more carefully.  On the inside back cover it states:

"Effective with this issue, CHILDREN TODAY will continue to publish --
but not on a regular basis.

The magazine will be sold as a single item publication -- and not as a
subscription service."

I am still trying to decide what to do about this.  If anyone out there
has any wonderful suggestions, I would love to hear them.
