CD-ROM policies requested Meg Robinson Arnold 24 Mar 1998 17:59 UTC

(I'm sending this for a colleague who is not subscribed, please send any
responses directly to her @ mwtaylor@newmail.uncc.edu):

In preparation for our upcoming move to a remodeled and expanded facility in
which collections will relocated, our library is in discussions about
electronic formats, CD ROMS in particular.

We would like to hear from other academic libraries who have made decisions
regarding housing/location/labeling/circulation for the following CD ROMS:
-Serial publications, usually annual, previously received in print.
-Periodical back volumes. Current issues and existing bound volumes
are shelved together. In this case, existing holdings begin with
v.5, and the CD received contains v.1 -5 of the title.
        -Conference proceedings, serials and monographs.

Thanks for your help.
