I would like to thank everyone who responded to my survey
on serials check-in/claims. I must have hit a hot spot -
90+ responses! Here, in summation are the results, minus
comments to numerous to detail:

1. where are serials physically checked-in on a daily basis

2. who checks in serials on a daily basis
        62      full-time staff person who does it every day
        8       part-time staff persons who do it some days
        6       student workers who do it during their shift

                some combination of the above)

3. are you maintaining a kardex
