Assistant LibrarianInterlibrary Loan/Serials

Thomas C. Donnelly Library at New Mexico Highlands University is accepting
applications for  the position of Assistant Librarian, Interlibrary
Loan/Serials.  This position reports to the Director of Library Services and
will manage Interlibrary Loan/Document Delivery and Serials.  Responsibilities:
Supervision of the daily operations of  the Interlibrary Loan/Document Delivery
and Serials sections.  Management of both sections by providing leadership in
establishing goals and priorities, setting policies and procedures, and
evaluating staff performance. Assist in providing reference services to
clientele on a rotational schedule, including evenings and weekends.  Perform
other related duties as assigned. Qualifications: We seek a service-oriented
individual with an ALA-accredited MLS. A minimum of two years post-MLS
experience in Interlibrary Loan/Document Delivery or Serials is required.
Public Services experience is desirable.  The successful candidate will
demonstrate familiarity with OCLC and integrated library systems along with
supervisory experience.  Strong organizational, electronic and public service
skills are required.  Must have good written and verbal communication skills.
