Call for Papers: Library Philosophy and Practice
Library Philosophy and Practice (http://www.uidaho.edu/~mbolin/lp&p.htm)

is a  peer-reviewed electronic journal which appears twice a
year, once in the fall and once in the spring. Its inaugural issue
appeared in Fall 1998. This is a call for papers for Vol. 2, no. 1 (Fall

1999.)

        An essential type of library science research is applied
research with the library as laboratory. Library Philosophy and Practice

is a refereed electronic journal publishing articles that demonstrate
the connection between library practice and the philosophy and theory
which are behind it. Library Philosophy and Practice publishes reports
of successful, innovative, or experimental library procedures, methods,
or projects in all areas of librarianship, including both public and
technical services. These reports are set in the context of applied
research, with reference to current, past, and emerging theories of
library practice.
