The series designation is repeated after the hyphen. Vol. is abbreviated to v. when it is not at the beginning of the statement. Ideally, you would also include any within-v. numbers, (e.g. 2nd ser., v. 1, no. 1); but with retrospective conversions, this information is often unknown. It shows a comma after ser. and volume is abbreviated to v. Example: -Dec. 1980 ; new ser., v. 1, no. 1 (Jan. 1981)- Hope this helps, Best regards Maija
