Yes, the worst-kept secret in Traveller, the Imperiallines J-6 couriers.

They date back to The Travellers' Digest #04 (1986), “The Gold of Zurrian” scenario and its associated Library Data. So definitely CT in origin, predating MT by a year. I believe they also appear in later MT publications by GDW, so have become canon.

Ummm, we can do earlier than that.  The Traveller Adventure (1983), p.139.

I should add, that it doesn't have anything to do with The Traveller Adventure itself but is simply a bit of Library Data at the back.  Of course, I still have three chapters of the campaign to go, so perhaps I've missed some relevance to the ongoing story of the March Harrier and her crew that's yet to come.

As it happens I'm running our 18th installment of our campaign tonight.  We're up to Tradewar but I'm thinking we might have a little side-adventure this evening.  Time they got out and stretched their legs on a world...

<rumours that I've still not learned to run ship combat being the real reason are *entirely* unfounded>

I'm just a tad stressed because the bright idea I came up with for said side adventure was only a couple of days ago and I still feel I'm lacking a couple of critical links/reasons.  I'd ask here, but not sure who's reading these days...!
