Hello all,

I believe I've got a working copy of CT: Striker DS9 Tac Missiles for the warhead, guidance system, and propellant. However, I've gotten lost on CT: Striker DS9 Launchers and Guidance Systems.

1. The Basic Launchers are covered on CT: Striker Book 3 page 22 and are as follows:

A. Launch Rails

B. Package Launchers

C. Tube Launchers

D. Magazine Launchers

2. Guidance Systems CT: Striker Book 3 page 22

A. Operator Guided: The Operator Guided Missile Table indicates the launcher has an installed guidance system compatible with the missile.

B. Teleguided: The Teleguided Missile Table indicates the launcher requires a guidance system.

C. Homing: The text on CT: Striker Book 3 page 22 states that no guidance system is required for the launcher.

D. Target Designated: The text on CT: Striker Book 3 page 22 states that no guidance system is required for the launcher, however the system does not a source to paint the target which is either a laser rifle or laser carbine.

E. Target Memory: The Target Missile Table indicates the launcher requires a guidance system.

Question:

1. Do rail launchers require a guidance system?

My understanding from listening to my Dad who was in the USAF for 26 years, research in my local library, and online launch rails do not have guidance systems. So am I on the right track?

Thank you for any answers.
