So you may have had some choices of where you went after RMC, but I think your degree tended to direct your service choice.

Yes they are all like Royal Military College, full scale universities. The degrees offered varies with institution.

Heh, I taught several Booter-Brown-Bars and muddied AH' Naval War and Harpoon on nav plotting table of the Constellation one summer.
