And for those who may not know, 'limey' seems to be some form of short form of 'lime juicer'. And for all the RN was made some fun of thus, limes were a good solution to the problem of scurvy.

I suppose you could easily mix it with rum. Lord knows, citrus and rum appear in many mixed drinks together.

Never heard about mixing lime into grog altho I did hear about the 'limey' label but I thought it was solely due to using limes to ward off scurvy.
