Mother-in-Law was passing on three Jack Reacher novels to my mum (which isn't a  line I ever expected to write) and as they are sitting around on a shelf waiting until I next see my parents one sort of fell into my hands over the weekend.  Very impressed with how Lee Child keeps me turning the pages.

Anyway, it mentioned the FBI Academy at Quantico apparently which was 'missing' from Jeff's list.  Presumably because it's not military which is fair enough.  But it did get me wondering what other ones there might be?

Have also learned what an abatis is and am thinking I should probably get professional help for 'fake but real' sounding weapon names for any Traveller fiction I write...
