Is it possible that they *were* designed using CT Striker Book 3 but:
a) They made a mistake in their designs and one of the two values are incorrect
b) They made a decision that MRLs should be lighter than the CT Striker Book 3 version

I see those both as possible, though I'd almost suspect a) is more likely given the errata-fest that is the MT legacy.

Hello all,

Per MT Consolidated Errata v 2.21 (02/23/2013) p. 34 recommends adding two tables of weapons. The first addition is a Multiple Rocket Launcher (MRL) Table which I believe is from MT 101 Vehicles Digest Group Publications 871-0795 copyright 1988 page 2.

I have no idea how many tubes each of the launchers has based on the table.

My first guess was that the MRLs were designed using CT Striker Book 3. The instructions/rules for constructing Design Sequence 4 MRLs can be found on pp. 17-18. MRLs are constructed using the same characteristics as mortars with exceptions.

On the MRL Table for MT the weight and the volume of the launcher are the same. Following the CT Striker Book 3 construction requirements Design Sequence 4 p. 17 A.3 Volume: The volume of a tube is its weight times 25. Apparently, the MT MRLs are not designed using CT Striker Book 3.

Does anyone have a suggestion of how to determine the number of tubes each of the MRLs has please?
