Officially, it has been more than 10 years since the Great TML Landgrab has occurred.  It really has been more like 15 since there are some expired land grabs that date from year 2000.

I was wondering, since the Landgrab information is associated with the site Downport.com, specifically at http://landgrab.downport.com/index.html does anyone want to restart some of this process?

I know all of the Spinward Marches planets/worlds are not covered, so I would recommend we at least finish that for our project.

In the beginning, we had the software “Heaven and Earth” which is now defunct.  Most of our data will now need to be “hand rolled” since there, as best as I can tell, is not another product like “Heaven and Earth,” and it was built for Windows 95, 98, NT & 2000. ( I wonder if I can use my old PC sitting in the corner of my wife’s office.  I had some trouble in the past because I lacked a small bit of the software and I’m not sure where I can find it.  Dang, now I have to try the old PC….)

Finally, we will need to agree on which "book" we will use as a basis for our data, as well as what extra data we will include.  I recommend we look at the land grabs, and determine what is "officially sanctioned" information and what is "unofficial."  Remember, there are other sources (products) out there that could be included for historical data.  I recommend we focus on Imperial Year 1105.  Anything else is gravy.  Conflicts between different product lines should be included as meta data.  How far the grabber desires to go with the information is up to that person.  Final inclusion could be listed in two areas:
