No worries. I was at K-Bay 89-91 and just remember that hammerheads used Kane'ohe as a breeding pool.  We used that as motivation to swim faster when we did shallow water escape training.  "You know this water is full of hammerhead sharks, right?  Now, in you go, and swim to shore. Don't lose your buddy."
