I've been struggling w/ a really weird INet issue all morning & I wonder whether a old FreeTrader might encounter the same problem w/i the TU;

Anyway, when I started up the 'new' laptop (Win7 & IE8) this morning, I found tha I could connect to my 'usual' websites EXCEPT for 'eBay' & 'PayPal'.
I fiddled around for a while, udated Java to the latest, but no good.
So I booted up the 'old' laptop (XP & IE8). Same problem.
So I booted up the tablet (Win8RT & IE10) & brought it 'up-to-date'. Same problem.
So I called my ISP (CenturyLink) & after a bit of dialog & experimentation, was given a # to call eBay.
As it turns out, the # wouldn't allow speaking to a real person. It simply read out a list of websites for various problems.
So, I updated the 'new' laptop (Win7) w/ IE11 & turned off all firewals.
This allowed me to connect to PayPal but not to eBay.
So, I next tried installing Google Chrome to the Win7 Laptop.
This also allowed me to access PayPal but not eBay.

Anybody have any idea what's going on?

P.S. all systems have been rebooted multiple times during this process.
