These appear to be considerably less efficient than modern freon + compressor based refrigeration systems. Even a 4x improvement wouldn't bring it up to the level that Traveller tech would need. It's hard to find any actual data on these things.

(of course, starships need magical radiators anyway. lets call 'em Einstein-Szilard-Meson refrigerators, because Bob Meson, as a hobby when not building superduper magic particle weapons, liked to tinker with other kinds of tech and managed to uild a super-duper magical refrigerator:-)
