Hi All,

I’ve been reading the Bobiverse novels and I’m intrigued by the notion of intelligent Von Neumann probes and how they might work in the Traveller universe. I *think* TL16 would be the minimum tech level for such a device, but the probes in the Bobiverse seem to be more like intelligent ships with manufacturing capabilities I’m not sure that the robotic rules would be the right way to go.

Any thoughts, spare change, etc., appreciated.
