Actually, Greg, what I wrote was that I had my ass handed to me on this
last back in the late 90s for the very things you're doing and commented
that the crowd today is being far, far, far more forgiving and gentle
than back in the day.

I never called you an idiot...arrogant, self important, and probably
some other things, but not an idiot.

Whether you asked for it or not, you offered an *opinion* on this list
that you passed off as gospel and people called you on the carpet for
it.  Almost every post has been delivered in a very haughty style,
that's been pointed out by many list members, and you're representing
your ideas and theories as fact while at the same time calling everyone
who disagrees with you "wrong" and also greatly impugning the US
military.  When I asked you for your qualifications, because he, you
could have been a retired general officer, the past commandant of
Carlisle Barracks, or perhaps the director of a civilian defense theory
think tank, you pretty much panned all that and say, "I read and
researched a lot so I know more and better than people who study, teach,
and work in the field for a living."

Superior technology alone can win a war...what it might not win is the
peace that follows.
