Not forgetting the carry restrictions - can't have a folding knife with a longer blade than 10?cm, can only carry any blade with valid reason, eg the kitchen knife you just bought and are taking home, a tradesman* travelling to their place of work, weirdo attending a historical reenactment event**.

On the other hand, the UK is LL7 or 8, not a "barely functioning law level".

[* no "tradesman" means carpenter, not bodyguard or PC!]
