If you were on the TML back in 'ye Olde Dayes' you'd've known the meaning of the old saying, "arguing just for the hell of it"!
There *was* a reason for the 'Sunbeam Declaration' (or whatever it was).
An incredibly intense flamewar had been ignited concerning whether or not piracy could exist w/i the OTU.
Of course anyone who was on the old UseNet, which actually predated the WWW, knows how that sort of thing was.
