I just had the terrifying thought of "Modular Beowulf Gunship"

Replace cargo bay with two 30-ton module bays... which has some cool
commercial applications.
Until you snap in a pair of ground-support gunship modules, and then
you have a "Puff the Magic Dragon" style nightmare.
