Is Freelance Traveller mobile in a mobile world? Jeff Zeitlin 29 Jan 2017 04:27 UTC

The answer is definitely no, it's not. But I'm going to be doing some
testing. Before I start putting up lorem test pages with various
tweaks, I'd like to know what Real Users see when they access
Freelance Traveller on mobile devices. So, if you have a mobile
device, please try visiting a few Freelance Traveller pages, including
at least one each of...

	A review (has graphics)
A career, world description, or animal (has tables)
A page with mostly just plain text, no tables or pics

Try each page with your device in both landscape and portrait
		orientation

Then, email me at xxxxxx@freelancetraveller.com with the following
information (use subject line FT MOBILE TEST):

	Device Information:
Name/Model of device, OS, version of OS.
Physical display size (inches or cm, preferably the
side measurements rather than the diagonal)
		Resolution (pixels)
Does it normally treat one pixel as one pixel, or does
it cluster device pixels into logical pixels?
	For each page you visited:
		URL of the page
Were you able to read everything without needing to
			zoom?
Were you able to tap on links accurately?
Was rotating the device handled sensibly?

For informational purposes only - I'm not planning on changing PDFs at
present - does your device handle PDFs well, and which format -
USLetter or A4 - is "better" for your device (some tablets are closer
to ISO A-series aspect ratio; some are closer to US Letter, some [most
phones] don't fit either well)

If you have multiple devices, you may include all of them in a single
email; just keep the information requested clearly grouped by device.
