Nope. many orders of magnitude difference.

Jump flash signal strength is going to be millions of millions of
millions... of times weaker than a planet.

And most of the planet detections are due to their effects on the
*star*. Wobbles in the stars position, or huge planets causing
regular variations in the brightness of the star (due to
occultations).

And far as I know all the atmospheres involved are educated *guesses
based on size of planet and distance from the star.
