I found TNE's FF&S much easier to understand than T4's, mostly because I
thought it was explained better and in T4, pretty much none of the
formulas are understandable without the eratta since they were misprinted.

Beyond that, other than making everything consistent, I really can't
stand either.  Yes, they're amazing resources and a ton of thought,
theory, and work (TT&W?) was put into them, but in the end I can't see
how all the minute extra detail really added anything that CT or MT
didn't already have other than to make everything extrapolated from
current technology.
