Hadn't though about that for years but it was definitely one of the very best.
(And I usually hate 'post-apocalypse' settings)

IMO, the crpg version (programmed by ORIGIN, run by 'Lord British', the real-life son of a real-life astronaut who started the company in his father's garage to market the first of the 'Ultima' series of crpg's), was even better than the 'pencil & paper' original.

Addictive as all get out!

Played it for hours & hours on my old Commodore 64.
