If you have a 10 parsec long "main", and it's doing the Jump for a
week, and 3 days to load/unload/move to and from jump point... then
you're looking at 100 days from System I to System X, and another 100
back.

The Megamatoes from System II will have spoiled by then!

If I want to ship from II to III, then I load it into the Megaship,
and it's there in 10 days.
If I want to ship from III back to II... then I have to wait 60 days
for the ship to reach X and turn around, come back to III, load my
II-bound cargo, and then another 10 for delivery?  130 days total
going that direction?

Ok, so two 100kdton ships, going in opposite directions... cuts the
max wait to 90 days, if I want to ship from II to I...

So, we could use eight 25kdt ships....

Hell, let's just put a 20kdton ship in each system, and there's one
every week...
