Hello Guy, Derek Wildstar, Garnett and TML members,

I am trying to figure out how to present the differences between my
calculations and those in the Standard Sensor Systems table for review. Here
is my latest format:

1. TL-9 Basic Package; Active Sensor Radar 300 km (A0); Passive Sensor HRT,
60,000 km, (P2), Jammer None, 0 km (J0)

My design Min Length is 10 m versus 5 m, Volume is 1 displacement tons (Td)
versus 1.1 Td and the Price is MCr13.8 versus MCr 13.5. The difference in
Min Length may be due to an error in my understanding of how minimum length
is determine based on the HRT antenna diameter, the volume difference in
rounding and my calculated price for the radar is from applying Consolidated
TNE Errata of Radar Antenna Cost (AC) MCr = Antenna Area (AA) x 0.05.

Active Sensor: TL-9 300 km Radar: TNE FF&S Radar Table p. 50
  Processor
    Volume (m^3): 10 m^3 = 10 / 14 = 0.7143 Td
    Price (MCr) = 1 x Volume = 1 x 10 = MCr10

  Antenna
    Area (m^2) = Processor Volume x TL Modifier = 10 m^3 x TL 9 Mod of 0.5 =
5 m^2
    Volume (m^3) = AA x 0.1 = 5 x 0.1 = 0.5 m^3 = 0.5 / 14 = 0.0357 Td
    Price (MCr) = 0.05 x AA 5 = MCr0.25

Radar Volume Total (Td) = Processor Volume 0.71 Td + Antenna Volume 0.04 Td
= 0.75 Td
Radar Price Total (MCr) = Processor MCr10 +Antenna MCr 0.25 = MCr10.25

Passive Sensor: TL 9 60,000 km HRT TNE FF&S HRT table p. 52
  Processor
    Volume (m^3): 1.5 m^3 = 1.5 / 14 = 0.1071 Td
    Price (MCr) = 1 x Volume = 1 x 1.5 = MCr1.500

  Antenna
    Diameter (m^2) If diameter > the unmodified hull length the antenna must
be a folding array otherwise it is a fixed array. The shortest unmodified
QSDS hull is 14 m. Array Modifiers: Fixed= 0.05; Folding = 0.1
    Demeter (m^2): 60,000 km antenna diameter is 10 m which is < 14 m and is
a fixed array (Volume mod 0.05)
    Area (m^2) = Area (m^2) x TL 9+ Mod 0.5 = 80 m^3 x 0.5 = 40 m^2
    Volume = Area (m^2) x Array Modifier = AA 40 x Fixed Array 0.05 = 2 m^3
= 2 / 14 = 0.1429 Td
    Price (MCr) = 1 x Volume m^3 = 1 x Volume 2 m^3 = MCr2.0

HRT Volume Total (Td) = Processor Volume 0.1071 Td + Antenna Volume 0.1429
Td = 0.2500 Td
HRT Total Cost (MCr) = Processor MCr1.5 + Antenna MCr2.0 = MCr3.5

TL-9 Basic Sensor Type
Min Length: 10 m
Total Volume (Td) = Radar 0.75 Td + HRT 0.25 Td= 1.000 Td.
Total Price (MCr) = Radar MCr10.25 + HRT MCr3.5 = MCr13.75 = rounding to on
decimal place MCr13.8
